No, babies are not allowed to eat durian until they are 2-3 years old.  Durian may lead to digestive disorders, flatulence, constipation as it contain high in fibers, and consuming foods with high fiber.

Yes, dog is safe to eat durian but you have to make sure that your dog will not eat the seed of the durian as it is dangerous to the health of animals due to their cyanide content.

This statement is WRONG. Instead of causing heart disease, eating regular durian may help you to prevent heart disease.

This is because there are a few compounds in durian that may  assist lower cholesterol levels and your risk of atherosclerosis, or artery hardening.

Durian will lead to high cholesterol !

NO! This statement is wrong too! Durians have no cholesterol and heart-healthy monounsaturated fats that can help lower your harmful LDL cholesterol levels.

Mangosteen must be eaten with durian to reduce heatiness !

According to Chinese custom, eating mangosteen can reduce the heat of durian; however, there is no scientific evidence to support this claim.

Consume alcohol after eating durian will cause death !

There is no scientific proof that this combination is lethal; however   you may induce bloating, indigestion, and discomfort as your liver has to work extra hard to metabolise the fats and sugars if you eat a large amount of durians with alcohol.
